Shannon O’Carolan

Shannon O’Carolan is a Legal Executive at Crushell & Co Solicitors, a specialist Irish law firm focused exclusively on employment law, workplace disputes, industrial relations, discrimination claims, whistleblowing, data protection, and related litigation.

Shannon advises and represents employees across a broad range of employment law matters, with a particular focus on contentious workplace disputes and claims before the Workplace Relations Commission and Labour Court.

Over the course of her career, Shannon has developed significant experience in the end-to-end management of employment claims. She regularly assists clients with the drafting and filing of complaints, preparation of detailed written submissions, case strategy, and representation throughout the dispute resolution process.

Her work includes complex matters involving unfair dismissal, discrimination, constructive dismissal, protected disclosures, victimisation, and failures to provide reasonable accommodation. Drawing on extensive experience in employment litigation and workplace disputes, Shannon is committed to achieving practical, effective, and commercially realistic outcomes for her clients.

Shannon graduated from Maynooth University in 2021 with a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree. Since joining Crushell & Co Solicitors, she has continued to build her expertise in employment law and workplace relations through extensive practical experience advising clients and managing complex cases before the relevant employment law forums.

Shannon is known for her client-focused approach, combining strong technical ability with clear communication and an approachable manner. She supports clients at every stage of the dispute resolution process, from initial instruction and strategic advice through to hearing and determination, ensuring that clients feel informed, supported, and confident throughout their case.

Outside of her professional work, Shannon enjoys staying active, particularly through swimming.
